Abstract
The recently proposed s-channel theory of high Tc superconductivity is applied to a one-dimensional lattice of parallel CuO2 planes. It is shown that at T<Tc, the long-range-order parameter is described by the Bose-condensate amplitude B and the electrons (or holes) have a gap energy proportional to B, the same as in the continuum case.
