Abstract
This study investigates the rule of picking or finding electronic or technological devices according to Islam or Sharia. In addition, a library research method has been used in the current research where the researcher has used updated resources. The researcher selected the mentioned topic because this issue is considered very crucial and less research has been done in this part, especially in Afghanistan. This topic has also been investigated by other Muslim scholars such Muslim his book Sahih Muslim has revealed that “According to Zaid bin Khalid Al- Juhani; one asked Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) what is the order or law when one finds something that belongs to other? Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) said that when you find something that belongs to other people, you should announce the thing you have found for one year. If the owner finds you, you should return the good you found. Moreover, the studies show how important, wide and the best Islamic religion is in which even the smallest issue has been discussed. This study will help local people know what to do when one finds something that belongs to another. Besides, this issue reveals that how important the mentioned issue is according to Islamic Fiqh. The study's findings indicated that there are different rules and laws for different people who find something that belongs to other people at different conditions; for instance, WA jib, Mustahab, Haram, Makroh and Mo bah. Moreover, nowadays it is common to lose or find electronic things, so this needs to have noticed and reach to the local people the law and rule of returning the things when one finds. This result of the study also indicated that if one finds the electronic or technological device such as computer motorcycle, mobile phone, car, flash disk and memory card. So, these things should be returned according to Islamic Sharia. Finally, the study has covered the new technological devices, which are the modern examples found things of the current era.
