Abstract
The article considers the little-studied aspect of the Rus-sian Social Democrats’ [Mensheviks] activity in emigra-tion, especially, the RSDLP Foreign Delegation governing body (1922–1951). Recognizing “the transitional nature of the era” and participating in the discussion of the inter-national socialist movement, the Mensheviks last played a public role in the political life of pre-war Europe and development of the “tactical formula” of the common activities organization.
