Abstract
A well-organized, efficiently run microsurgical research and training laboratory can be a valuable asset to an orthopedic training program. The three areas in which the laboratory can lend support are teaching, research, and clinical. Organization and utilization of the laboratory as a multifunctional facility can enable it to provide maximum support for the microsurgical aspects of the orthopedic training program.
