Abstract

The article presents the features and details of the psychological preparation of Paralympic athletes that a specialist psychologist needs to know - the regulatory requirements of federal standards for sports training, the rules of sports, the differences between the competitive Olympic model and the Paralympic model, the division of sports according to nosological features. The need for a wider information support of Paralympic sports as the most difficult to understand and subsequent development of psychological support programs substantiated. It is shown that an expert information-analytical system that allows access to reference materials is an indisputable tool in the development of the system of sports training for Paralympic athletes and, in particular, the psychology of adaptive sports.
