Abstract
In the current digital era, social media and government have a complicated and important interaction. Social media and government interactions involve a number of significant areas, such as politics, decision-making, education, crisis and disaster management, and community communication. As technology advances and the social and political landscape evolves, so does the connection between social media and the government. As a result, it's critical to strike a balance between security and freedom of speech and make sure that government usage of social media enhances democracy and citizen involvement.
