Abstract

The objective of the work was the study of reticular fibers in various forms of chronic polypous rhinosinusitis. We have examined 45 patients with chronic polypous rhinosinusitis in 2013, who had undergone surgical treatment with the further morphological and immunohistochemical examination of the macropreparation. The study has revealed that the polyps of the patients with eosinophilic polypous rhinosinusitis displays more expressed oedema and argentophilic fibers degradation in comparison with neutrophilic polypous sinusitis.
