Abstract

Effective communication is of paramount importance in the aviation industry during the dialogic exchanges between partners, as miscommunication can lead to severe consequences for both safety and efficiency. As English has become the global language for aviation communication, aviation English courses have gained a significant prominence in recent years. This article explores the potential of serious games and introduces sample games designed to achieve specific learning outcomes, as a valuable tool for enhancing language learning and proficiency in aviation English courses. The paper aims to provide educators and course designers with valuable insights and guidance on how to effectively integrate serious games into their curriculum, ultimately contributing to enhanced communication skills and improved overall performance in the aviation industry
