The Role of Parents in Integrating their Own Children in Society

Abstract

In accordance with a certain educational mentality specific to the Romanian people, parents direct, support and make material efforts, in order to ensure a high level of education, the aspiration to an university education being unanimously expressed and perceived, as a factor of ultimate self-fulfillment. Parents are often left without possibilities of intervention over their own children. They need to be helped in their efforts to educate and improve in an efficient manner the problems occurred in family life. In this way, the new generations will be able to cope with greater ease the inherent challenges of the development and change brought by society.
