Abstract

Introduction: In the field of neonatology, nursing plays a crucial role in providing specialized care and comprehensive support to newborns and their families. This research focuses on a detailed exploration of the nursing role in neonatology and its significance in newborn care, given its impact on child health. Objective: To comprehensively analyze the role of nursing in neonatology, identifying its key contributions to newborn care and its impact on neonatal health outcomes. Methodology: The PRISMA methodology is employed to conduct a systematic review of relevant studies on neonatal nursing. This involves defining inclusion and exclusion criteria, searching for studies in academic databases, selecting relevant studies, extracting key data, assessing methodological quality, and conducting qualitative analysis. Results: The review of articles highlights the critical role of neonatal nursing in newborn care. Their competence in critical situations is emphasized, where their dedication and skills are essential for stabilizing and promoting the well-being of neonates in delicate conditions. Conclusions: The comprehensive analysis of studies underscores the crucial function of neonatal nursing in newborn care.
