Abstract

Using compositions containinga copolymer of tetrahydrofuran and propylene oxide, trimethylolpropane and 2,4-toluylenedi-isocyanate a study was made of the effect of different plasticizers on kinetics of urethane and gel-formation in linear and three-dimensional polymerization. It was shown that according to the type of medium and the degree of dilution, the relative activity of reagents and the tendency of compositions to undergo “inefficient” macroring-formation in three-dimensional polymerization change considerably.
