Abstract

The role of laboratory work in the system of training of engineering and technical specialists is considered. Ready- made stands of FESTO and SMC Pneumatic companies were used, supplemented with new equipment and a physi- cal model of a ventilation unit with an automated control system developed at the department. The importance of laboratory work for the assimilation and consolidation of the material passed, the acquisition of special knowledge and practical skills necessary in production activities is shown.
