Abstract
AbstractThe authors of this article update the role of cooperative education in activating and increasing the sustainability of the development of the cooperative movement in modern Russian society. The article is devoted to substantiating the place and role of disciplines related to the humanitarian cycle in the system of higher professional education, in the training of specialists for the field of cooperation. The team of authors conducted an analysis of scientific research on the history of the development of humanitarian education in general and cooperative as one of the promising areas. Close attention is paid to the formation of the cooperative sector and its importance for the entire economy of the country. The article shows the relationship between the social and economic policies of the state at various stages of historical development and the trends in the development of cooperative education. The authors of the article note that the competent approach underlying the modern education system of the Russian Society suggests that a graduate of an educational institution of higher professional education should master not only professional competencies. The special role of historical knowledge in the formation of personal and professional competencies of future cooperators, in the spiritual and moral education of future specialists is emphasized.
