Abstract

The role of housewives who work at Tungku Dakak-Dakak Nila plays a role in improving the welfare of their families. This research uses the field research method (Field Research). This research is qualitative research. The data collection technique that the author uses is to collect directly from the field with observation, documentation and interview techniques from housewives who work at the Dakak-Dakak Nila Furnace. The results of this study indicate that housewives who work at the Dakak-Dakak Nila Furnace have played a role in improving the welfare of their families from the aspects of income, shelter, health and education based on the BKKBN agency's welfare theory, which initially they were difficult in terms of finance such as difficulty meeting their basic needs such as eating 2 times a day by working at the Dakak-Dakak Nila Furnace they were able to fulfill it. in terms of education that they were initially difficult in terms of finance such as difficult to meet their basic needs such as eating 2 times a day by working at the Dakak-Dakak Nila Furnace they can fulfill it, In terms of education, which was initially difficult for them to pay for their children's education, now they can provide education up to the lecture level, by working at the Dakak-Dakak Nila Furnace, housewives can better meet their health needs, their residence in accordance with BKKBN indicators.
