Abstract

This research analyzes the relationship between household welfare on child well-being in Vietnam. By applying the OLS regression model on a secondary data set from the Vietnam Sustainable Development Goal Indicators for Children and Women survey by the General Statistics Office (GSO) and the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) in the period 2020-2021, research shows that high household welfare has positive effects on all six constitutive dimensions of child well-being. The research results serve as a reference base to provide some recommendations to increase and balance household welfare across regions, thereby improving child well-being in Vietnam.
