Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has completely changed socio-economic life. The fact that people have to limit community contact has created conditions for online business methods to develop. Therefore, many scientists and policymakers are interested in studying the intention to start an online business. This study was conducted to determine university education's role in students' e-entrepreneurial intention in Ho Chi Minh City. The survey is built on the Google Form platform and deployed on social media. Convenience sampling method was applied to collect data. After obtaining 406 valid answers from students studying in different disciplines, the data were analyzed using PLS-SEM. The research results show that attitudes and outcome expectations significantly influence the formation of e-entrepreneurial intentions of Vietnamese students. At the same time, attitudes and outcome expectations are also positively affected by entrepreneurship education. This result is also a successful demonstration of the theoretical integration in behavioral intention research. From this result, some management implications are also proposed to help universities develop e-entrepreneurship among students.
