Abstract

In previous articles ( see Scientific and Technical Libraries. - 2017. - Issues 6,7) the author examined V.I. Lenin’s views on Bolsheviks’ party libraries in preparing the revolution: historiography is discussed; the problem historiography is presented; legal forms of library work used by Bolsheviks for propaganda is discussed. In this concluding article, the author focuses on illegal libraries of Russian Social Democratic Labor Party (of Bolsheviks) organized at every party cell. He analyzes every library element, i.e. collections, users, librarians, and equipment, sources for collection development, specifics of underground cataloguing, etc.

В предыдущих статьях (см.: Науч. и техн. б-ки. – 2017. – No 6, 7) рассмотрены принципиальные взгляды В. И. Ленина на роль большевистских партийных библиотек в подготовке революции; освещена историография вопроса; показано использование большевиками легальных форм библиотечной работы в пропаганде идей социал-демократии. В заключительной статье этого цикла сосредоточено внимание на деятельности нелегальных партийных библиотек РСДРП(б), организованных большевиками на всей территории России в каждой партийной ячейке.
