Abstract

ABSTRACT We examined the impact of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) on counselors-in-trainings’ (CIT; N = 139) perceived wellness and burnout and the mitigating role of social support. Participants indicated high exposure to ACEs, high levels of burnout, and low levels of wellness. Implications for counseling training programs are discussed.
