Abstract

The absorptive effects in inclusive reactions are studied by generalizing the strong-absorptive Regge-pole model from quasi-two-body reactions. It is conjectured that the radius of the interaction is a decreasing function of the missing mass and the consequences of this conjecture are discussed both in the triple-Regge limit and in the fragmentation region.
