Abstract
DR. Ackerman's latest work is the lavish folio publication of three tapestries in the Rockefeller McCormick collection. It contains six large color plates printed by Jaffe, displaying each of the three tapestries, with three added plates of detail. Thirty plates are required for the illustration, in monochrome, of comparable tapestries and other textiles, to which are appended eight plates of line drawings to exhibit details of ornament. The typography and printing of the text are by Mr. D. B. Updike, the Merrymount Press, Boston. Both the printing and the plates are of a very high order of technical excellence and will make this book one to command the admiration of collectors of fine books.
