Abstract

Background: Cavo-tricuspid isthmus (CTI) catheter ablation is an established and effective treatment for typical atrial flutter, usually performed via a femoral approach. Unusual anatomical abnormalities such as inferior vena cava (IVC) interruption necessitate alternative approaches. Access via the superior approach has been described in the literature but not locally.
