Abstract

For groundwater seepage in highway tunnel operation, through some introduction of risk analysis methods in projects, a risk-based maintenance management model for tunnel water seepage is set up. In order to reduce the deterioration effects of tunnel structure and the impact on traffic safety, the model consists of system decomposition, risk identification, risk measurement, risk assessment, risk evaluation, maintenance activities execution and risk monitoring and control. After the model analysis and specific applications discussion of the highway tunnel water seepage maintenance problem, according to the risk level of risk factors, there is different treatment separately. It provides a new view of analytical methods based on risk management for dealing with water seepage maintenance management on highway tunnels in China.
