Abstract

Purpose –– This study explores the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in creating job opportunities for youth in Ghana. Methods –– Based on a quantitative research design, the study examines the key factors that influence the success of AI-based job creation initiatives in the country. Findings –– The study finds that these three factors are critical to the success of AI-based job creation initiatives in Ghana. To unlock the full potential of AI in creating new job opportunities for youth, the study recommends government policies, public-private partnerships, and increased investment in education and training. Conclusion & Recommendations –– The study concludes that collaborative efforts from stakeholders in government, academia, and the private sector are needed to overcome the barriers to AI-based job creation and promote youth employment in Ghana and beyond.
