Abstract
In the report, it is briefly rewieved the importance and role of health-care tourism in the process of improvement of people. It is also very briefly reviewed the origin of medicinal and recreational resorts, and in particular their development in Europe. By bringing the appropriate numbers, it is briefly discussed the financial revenues from the healing and recreational tourism in EU28 budget. In short, modern trends of development of health-care resorts in Europe and former Soviet Union countries are discussed. The resort resources of Europe and other countries are also briefly described. Georgia's resort potential and resort Tskhaltubo and its development perspectives are briefly discussed until 2030.
