Abstract
This paper analyzes the causes of the belt conveyor tear accident and the application of the existing laceration resistant real-time monitoring technology. A new real-time detection scheme is put forward as a result of the application of wireless information transmission based on zigbee technology, and the improvement of the conveyer belt structure. The working condition of belt conveyor can be judged by the detection of conveyor belt gasbag internal pressure changes with the database default values in the SQL Server database. The results show that with the ability of data-collection and analysis as well as the management of the data base, the system can work efficiently when running deviation, puncture or tear happens.
