Abstract
Compared with the BBV network model, the restricted edge weighted BBV network model can express a variety of real-world networks realistically. The research of virus propagation and immunization strategy based on the restricted edge weighted BBV network model will help to solve some problems better in the real networks. We got the virus propagation of the restricted edge weighted BBV network model through simulation experiments. And we found the restricted edge weighted BBV network model, the propagations of SIS virus propagation model and SIR virus propagation model is consistent with the BBV network model. At the same time, the study of immunization strategy on the restricted edge weighted BBV network model show that the immunization strategy of based node betweenness is the best. This conclusion is the same with the BBV network model. But the time to reach steady state after immunization on the restricted edge weighted BBV network model is less than the BBV network model. From the above results can obtain the virus propagation and proper immunization strategy of the restricted edge weighted BBV network model. The results also verify the advantages of the restricted edge weighted BBV network model.
