Abstract

The current pandemic and its restrictions, such as the delaying or canceling of cultural events, self-quarantining and limited access to public spaces, have determined the cultural industry, including theaters, to develop new ways and formats in order to function. These changes have been necessary to maintain a specific level of culture consumption. People active in the artistic field, festival organizers and theaters have faced many challenges, the greatest of them being the perpetuation of the creative act, maintaining contact with the public, as well as distributing the artistic products in absence of an audience and its appreciation.
