Abstract
Abstract More than 90 % of Cadmium can be continuously abstracted from synthetic industrial wastewater flowing through a biological fluidised bed. The removals of Zinc, Lead and Copper reach the same order of magnitude. Moreover, all these metals are concentrated in biologically coated‐sand particles i.e. in a small volume which could be easily collected.
