Abstract
A dynamical model of confinement is proposed to replace the potential model. The leading relativistic corrections are shown to agree with nonperturbative QCD. Methods are developed to obtain numerically exact solutions for quantized mesons. Illustrative examples are given for equal-mass and heavy-light mesons.
