Abstract

Cognitive impairment is common in adults receiving peritoneal dialysis (PD) and has been linked to adverse outcomes. Residual kidney function (RKF) is a key determinant of clinical outcomes in dialysis patients but the evidence on whether it affects cognitive outcomes is unclear.
