Abstract
<p> The purpose of this study is to Recognizing how the correlation between learning motivation and HOTS, Recognizing how the correlation between self-concept and HOTS, Recognizing how the correlation between learning motivation and self-concept related to HOTS. This study used a descriptive quantitative method with a correlation research design. The participants were 8-grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Surakarta school year 2020/2021. The method of sampling that the researcher used in this study is cluster random sampling. The data for this study is collected through online questionnaires by using google form. In this study, for the data analysis, I use simple linear regression and multiple regression analysis. The result of this study shows that : Learning motivation has a positive correlation with HOTS and also has a regression value 0,401. Self-concept has a positive correlation with HOTS and also has a regression value 0,417. Learning motivation and self-concept has a positive correlation with HOTS has a regression value 0,491 and has a coefficient of determination value 0,241.</p>
