Abstract

The study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the relationship between Business Models (BM) and Project Management (PM). MN is a concept that has become popular among the areas of management and business, but considering the GP area, it can be seen that the literature contains a limited number of studies linking these issues. The methodological approach was based on the search and content bibliometric analysis in the Web of Science and considered the period between 2009 and 2014 to select articles. The selection showed an initial number of 114 documents, which were analyzed and after passing through selective criteria, were reduced for 22 documents, and all journal articles. The analyzed period demonstrated a growing interest in the topic of study, reaching the top number of publications in 2014. The journals with more publications during this period of time, were those that address assumptions of energy ( Energy Policy ) and on project management ( International Journal of Project Management ), each with 3 publications. The research areas with more publications were Business and Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Environmental Science and Fuel and Energy. Studies show that there is a great opportunity to study for the proposed theme and there is no matter the domain identified in the research journals. Because it is a relatively new issue, studies need to be subject of in-depth analyzes and are characterized by being in an exploratory phase. Keywords: Business Model, Project Management, bibliometrics.
