Abstract
This work was to determine the perception of the physical self by biological age in footballers of 15 years. Our study examines the evaluation of sixty-four (64) players belonging to the under-15 category (U15) playing in Algerian League 1 football clubs. The results show that in terms of overall self-esteem, there is no significant difference between the average values of the three groups of biological maturity (Accelerated, Normal, Delayed). In terms of perceived physical value there is a significant difference at the p<000 threshold between the accelerated group and the other two groups. This is confirmed in terms perceived physical condition. And perceived strength. Contrary to this, perceived competence and perceived physical appearance do not record any difference between the three groups of biological maturity.
