Abstract

This research was driven by the objective to analyze the relationship between air quality and residential property market value with the expectation to establish air quality as another influencing factor to the property price. This exploratory research was conducted in a micro environment limited to two districts in the state of Selangor and focused toone residential property type only. By using Air Quality Index as air quality indicator and Terrace House Index under Malaysia Housing Index (MHI) as proxy for property market, data were statistically analysed and the results have indicated some significant relationship.
