Abstract

This paper presents some thoughts on selective placement and outlines a framework for selective placement being utilized by a practicing rehabilitation counselor. Some thoughts regarding the responsibility for selective placement are also included. In conclusion, it is estimated that no wholesale changes in a counselor's schedule or duties need be contemplated to incorporate the attitudes, feelings, and techniques presented in this paper.
