Abstract
The method of the thermoelectric postgrowth treatment of LiNbO3, and LiTaO3 ferroelectric crystals has been devised which allows one to obtain domains of preset size and orientation of boundaries equally spaced throughout the bulk of a single crystal. Such structures have been used for Q-switching of laser resonators and piezoelectric volume-acoustic-wave (VAW) transducers with a controlled directional diagram.
