Abstract
The article presents the data of international registries and cohort studies of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). It justifies the purpose and objectives of the international registry of SLE patients, a Eurasian cohort (RENAISSANCE), which was launched in 2012 and amalgamated the leading rheumatology centers of the Russian Federation (V.A. Nasonova Research Institute of Rheumatology; Department of Rheumatology, Pacific State Medical University), Kazakhstan (Department of Rheumatology, S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University), and Kyrgyzstan (Academician M. Mirrakhimov National Center for Cardiology and Therapy), which mainly concentrate patients with the acute course of this disease. The first data of the registry are given.

Диагностика Системная красная волчанка (СКВ): в течение первого года болезни диагноз СКВ был верифицирован только у 133 (58%) больных, через 1,5–2 года от начала заболевания – у 35 (15%), через 3 года – у 16 (7%), через 4–5 лет – у 16 (7%)
Несмотря на совершенствование диагностики и принципов терапии СКВ, число больных со средней и высокой степенями активности за период с 1993 по 2012 г. уменьшилось только на 3%

Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University), and Kyrgyzstan Эти инструменты позволяют собрать обширную информацию и проанализировать многие аспекты СКВ – влияние на течение болезни и ее исход пола, возраста, дебюта, клинических проявлений, изучить эффективность и безопасность терапии, эпидемиологические, социальные и экономические стороны и проблемы этого заболевания. При анализе материалов когортных исследований, регистров и баз данных выявляется большое количество НП жизненно важных органов, развитие которых оказывает огромное влияние на выживаемость и качество жизни больных СКВ.
