Abstract
The article deals with the problem of calculating high flexible steel structures like masts and towers for the dynamic component of the wind load. The definition of dynamic component of the wind load in Russian and European building codes is considered and analyzed. A refined calculation procedure is proposed, which gives more favorable results.
