Abstract
After introducing the basic conceptions of discovery (KD) and data mining (DM) in databases and their application in total quality system, a novel total quality discovery model is proposed. The realization scheme of subsystem in large-scale quality database is also given. The basic thought is to integrate the information of quality control and quality management to primary database, and establish intelligent quality discovery system and quality evaluation decision system. Such intelligent quality discovery system can solve the knowledge bottleneck problem in expert system and offer the new for total quality expert system effectively. It can create conditions for realizing real intelligent quality control.
