Abstract

In the last part of Volume I of this work, arguments were adduced in favor of expressing the sum total of presently available knowledge in a logically and physically interpreted formalism whose basic universe of discourse coincides with the time-space continuum. If these arguments are cogent, then time- space, including its timelike and spacelike, components, must really exist since their non-existence would imply the non-existence of any physical entity. However, in view of the philosophic significance of the issue, I shall survey in this chapter a few independent arguments in support of temporal reality.KeywordsQuantum StatePhysical RealityQuantum ElectrodynamicQuantum TimeInertial Coordinate SystemThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
