Abstract

Through this research paper, it aims to understand the reality of women in the Algerian labor market and to review the most important challenges facing women in it, trying to shed light on their role in the process of sustainable economic development, as a real partner contributing to building and enriching the human, political, economic and social experience. And the extent of the impact of social and cultural factors with their values, customs, traditions, folklore and social control, and on the other hand the awareness and level of education and health of women and the degree of their contribution to social and economic institutions in light of social progress and the openness of cultures and technological development taking place, despite the interest of the Algerian state and its encouragement of women’s work through Enacting legislation and advocacy policies for that, and worked to provide the appropriate climate, encourage and stimulate innovation and investment, instill the spirit of entrepreneurship and open the way for all genders.
