Abstract

The reactions 12C(e,e′pp) and12C(e,e′p) have been studied at an energy transfer ω = 210 MeV and a momentum transfer ‖q‖ = 267 MeV/c. The angular correlation between two emitted protons has been measured keeping the position of the electron spectrometer and one proton detector fixed, while the position of the other detector was varied around the conjugate angle. A clear signature for the emission of two correlated protons has been observed.
