Abstract

1. Dowspray 66 Improved killed potato vines more rapidly than either Handy Killer or Sinox General. 2. The stage of maturity did not influence the rate of kill with Dowspray 66, but more mature plants were killed more rapidly by Sinox General and Handy Killer. 3. The incidence of stem-end discoloration varied inversely with the number of days required to kill the plants. 4. There was a marked decrease in the amount of internal discoloration after four months in storage.
