Abstract
A study has been made of the radical copolymerization of some α-substituted with styrene, methyl methacrylate and diethylvinyl phosphonate. The nonconjugated and slightly conjugated comonomers were found to be the most suitable for the copolymerization with this type of phosphorus-containing monomers. The influence of structural factors on the copolymerization constants is discussed.
