Abstract

This autobiographical essay explores the personal experiences of the author and how he has navigated expectations and stereotypes of being Asian American working in a Roman Catholic tradition. Being the only practicing Asian American priest in his Catholic order, the Servites, this first-person account addresses structural racism and what a theological response to it might be like.
