Abstract

Workers’ participation rights, centred around collective bargaining, present numerous weaknesses in Quebec. The authors highlight in this respect the collision between collective bargaining rights and property rights, as well as freedom of commerce. However, for the authors, the new labour constitution in Canada heralds a positive change for workers’ basic participation rights.
