Abstract

This scholarly article seeks to elucidate the protagonist of the television series "The Pursuit of Love" through the prism of the quintessential Byronic heroine. Through empirical evidence, this paper establishes that Linda exhibits attributes inherently aligned with the Byronic archetype, predominantly highlighting her distinct individualism and her defiance against societal conventions. Furthermore, this discourse demonstrates Linda's propensity to be overwhelmingly swayed by deep-seated passions, centralizing her existence around the quest for idyllic romantic affections. This paper underscores the tragic repercussions of Linda's unwavering dedication to this idealistic pursuit of love, wherein she becomes disillusioned by her own romantic aspirations, consequently leading to her alienation from her cherished ones.
