Abstract
We have studied the 4He(e, e′ p) 3H reaction within a coupled-channel resonating group approach consistently describing nuclear 1566 structure effects and the reaction mechanism. The calculated proton spectral functions agree well with the NIKHEF-K and Saclay data. We conclude that the deviation of the data from the PWIA picture is caused by final state interactions.
