Abstract
Femtosecond laser small incision lenticule extraction (SMILE) is different from other corneal refractive surgery in corneal morphology changes, such as change of corneal nerve fiber, sensitivity, the operative interface, epithelial plugs, corneal biomechanical and posterior cornea surface. These changes could be detected with confocal microscope, ocular response analyzer (ORA), corneal visualization scheimpflug technology (Corivis ST) and Pentacam.
