Abstract

Medical students need to train their life-long learning capacity in order to adapt to the un-ceasing changed medical service environment. Problem-based learning (PBL) is conducive to the training of creative thinking capacity, unremitting study capacity and life-long learning capacity of medical students. In this paper, the problems and countermeasures in the course of carrying out PBL were discussed from sev-eral aspects including education concept, teacher role, student role, case compiling, evaluation methods and school facility so as to provide reference for the step-by-step implementation of PBL in Chinese medical education at the present stage.
